The popular online poker website Poker Stars which owned the domain name www.pokerstars.com has had its domain name and entire gambling operation shut down by the Federal Bureau of Investigations.

Reports are surfacing that Poker Stars was directly involved in billions of dollars of money laundering. The US government is currently taking Poker Stars to court along with its CEO, and numerous directors.

We highly recommend that all Canadian players withdraw any funds from Poker Stars if they can.
